Prof. Tuan is a Distinguished Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at National Tsing Hua University. His research interest includes nanomaterials synthesis and energy applications have pioneered this area towards practical applications. He has published 130 papers in prestigious international journals, including Energy and Environmental Science, JACS, Advanced Science, ACS Nano, Chemical Engineering Journal, Energy Storage Materials, Nano Energy, and Journal of Materials Chemistry A, etc. 100 papers have an impact factor over 6 and the average paper impact factor of published articles is around 10.6. Over 80% of his articles were published in the top 15% journals of the assigned area. His articles have been cited over 12000 times. Seven of his articles have ever been listed as high-cited papers by ISI. He also holds 10 patents. His research provides groundbreaking impact on the multiple perspectives communities. Since 2008, 51 projects have been implemented, of which I served as the principal investigator of 35 projects, and a total of 836,600,000 TWD has been applied. Prof. Tuan has been honored with several prestigious international recognitions, including the Outstanding Asian Researcher and Engineer Award from the Society of Chemical Engineers, Japan (SCEJ), and Fellows of the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (IOM3), the Institute of Physics (IOP), the International Association of Advanced Materials (IAAM), the Australian Institute of Energy (AIE), and the Vebleo International Scientific Organization, in recognition of my contributions to battery materials and technology. I have also received the Ministry of Science and Technology’s Outstanding Research Award twice (in 2020 and 2023), the Professor Tsai-Tzer Lai Award from the Chemical Engineering Society, the IAAM Medal, and the IIP International Lifetime Achievement Award for Distinguished Inventors.

Dr. Waseem Hayat is an Associate Research Fellow at the College of Chemical Engineering, Huaqiao University, China, specializing in water treatment, soil microbial ecology, and environmental social sciences. He earned his Ph.D. in Environmental Science & Engineering from South China University of Technology, China, focusing on the degradation of pesticides in water through activated persulfate oxidation. He also holds an M.S. in Environmental Science from COMSATS University Islamabad, Pakistan, and a B.S. in Environmental Sciences from Hazara University, Pakistan. Dr. Hayat has extensive academic and research experience, including a postdoctoral fellowship at South China University of Technology. His research contributions include work on the degradation of chloro aromatic hydrocarbons using advanced nanocomposites. He is an active reviewer for several prestigious journals such as Environmental Pollution and Journal of Environmental Chemical Engineering. His expertise spans phytosociology, plant-microbe interactions, nanomaterial synthesis, and advanced analytical techniques. Throughout his career, Dr. Hayat has received multiple honors, including the "Research Productivity Award" from COMSATS University and a "Chinese Government Scholarship" for his doctoral studies. He is fluent in English and Urdu, with elementary proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and basic knowledge of French.

Li Wang got his Ph.D. degree at Zhejiang University and was a postdoctor in Waterloo University, Canada during 1995-1997. He currently holds a professor and doctor tutor position of Zhejiang University, Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC), commissioner of the Committee of the Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy under Chinese Physical Society, and editorial board of Pigment & Resin Technology, Innovations in Corrosion and Materials Science, Journal of Zhejiang University Science A, China Coatings Journal and Chinese Journal of Magnetic Resonance. He was also a visiting professor of Yale University and University of Washington, a researcher of Czechic Academy of Science. His research interests largely focus on the synthesis of polymers and functional polymers, preparation and organization of nanomaterials. He has hold more than 70 research programs that from Natural Science Foundation of China, the ministry of Science and Technology, the International Cooperative Programs, Multinational Corporations and domestic enterprises as the project director. He has published more than 300 papers in the journals such as Chemical Reviews, Prog. Polym. Sci., Angewandte Chemie-International Edition, J. Phys. Chem. B, Macromolecules, Nanotechnology and so on. He has been invited to visit the universities in U.S.A., U.K., France, Italy, Germany, Canada, Czech to give lectures and/or make academic communication.

Dr. Narayan Chandra Mishra is a B.Tech. in Chemical Technology from Calcutta University; M.Tech. in Chemical Engineering from IIT Kanpur and PhD in Interface Science & Engineering from Max-Planck Institute, Germany. He is currently working as Professor in the Department of Polymer & Process Engineering at IIT Roorkee. Earlier, he had acted as visiting Professor at Academia Sinica, Taiwan. He has 1year industrial experience and 21 years teaching-cum-research experience. He was honoured with “EIL Research Award”, “Sushrut Memorial Award”and honoured as young Nanobiotechnologist by Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India. He was also honoured with ECIS-2003 Award in Bristol, UK. His research interest includes “Tissue Engineering”, “Nanobiotechnology”, “Waste Management” and “Happiness Capsules”. He has published 5 patents, out of which one is commercialized. He has published several articles in the peer-reviewed international journals.
